Mission
Education is a fundamental human right.

It is essential for the development of the individual and paves the way for a successful and self determined life.

We believe that basic education helps stop generational cycles of poverty and better equips students with knowledge and skills to take an active role in their future social and economic life.

The purpose of ?Our Lady of Hope Foundation for education and teaching? is to contribute towards giving, as many Lebanese children as possible, better access to quality learning.

History
"Our Lady of Hope Foundation for education and teaching" is a non-profit organization founded in 1987 on the initiative of "Khalil Fattal & Fils, s.a.l."

Through its support and assistance, the Foundation takes part in providing equal opportunities in the field of education to students aspiring to become active members in the Lebanese society.

It was recognized by the Ministry of the Interior under the No 145/ad dated October 8th, 1987, and declared of public interest by presidential decree no. 7896 on January 30th, 1996.

Assistance to students of academic level: 15%
Assistance to artistic and cultural activities: 10%

Committee
The Executive Committee is elected for two years by all the active members. It meets regularly to plan activities and assign financial aid to the selected applicants.
